Summer Camp: Journey of the Danube's Pressburgerik

Bratislava as the playground.
German as part of the adventure.

Five days. Five stories. One city full of secrets. Children will discover Bratislava through legends, games, creative activities and city adventures. Every adventure is also an opportunity to experience German naturally—through conversations, teamwork and shared experiences.

Twelve young explorers. One unforgettable adventure.

Each camp is limited to just 12 children, giving us the opportunity to get to know every young explorer, nurture their curiosity and create a week they’ll remember long after summer is over.

Day 1

The Legend of the Golden Treasure of the Danube:

Our journey begins with one of the Danube’s most famous legends. Children will meet Pressburgerik, follow the first clues to a lost treasure and uncover the river’s secrets through games, creative activities and an exciting city adventure.

Day 2

The Coronation of Maria Theresa:

What was Bratislava like during the age of royal coronations? Together we’ll step back in time, discover centuries-old traditions and enjoy a day filled with challenges, games and creative activities inspired by the city’s royal past.

Day 3

The Legend of the Fountain Statue:

A new story awaits us in the Main Square. We’ll follow the trail of an old legend, explore the hidden corners of the historic city centre and uncover the stories Bratislava has been telling for centuries.

Day 4

Mozart, the Young Virtuoso:

Did you know Mozart once performed in Bratislava? Music, creativity and the city itself come together in a day full of discovery, games and imaginative activities.

Day 5

The Last Water Spirits and the Duck Fountain:

Our final chapter takes us to the Duck Fountain and the legends of the last water spirits. Together we’ll complete the Journey of the Danube's Pressburgerik, look back on everything we’ve discovered and celebrate an unforgettable week of adventure.

What’s included?

The camp fee of €250 per child includes the full-day programme (8:00 AM–4:30 PM), all creative materials, admission to all visited attractions, lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, drinks throughout the day, a personal camp journal, experienced camp leaders and natural exposure to German throughout the entire programme.
